My name is Sara, and I’m the founder of Atelier Tamà.

A small cosy atelier founded in Antwerp, where I make organic limited creations and give private lessons.

For me, turning and hand building is a way to channel the daily stress from my hands into the clay. It has a calming and therapeutic effect and I enjoys sharing this with others. There is nothing more fun than motivating people and creating something together with them at the end of a lesson. My creations grows organically and intuitively, which are also the key words for my work. 'I try to create ceramics as much as possible from gut feeling, accept assignments that feel good and make pieces that can be used ritually.'
